If you’re an atheist, what would be your motive in spreading atheism, and why would you care what others believe?

Monarchs, Emperors, Czars, and dictators all have used religion to both polarize their citizens as well provide themselves with a solution for committing atrocities. Some even make claim to being a god.

a person who was indoctrinated as a child, and then chose to let go of their religion after coming to the realization that religion is really all just man made fiction. They return to the state of having no beliefs when they entered the world.

I do not care what others believe IF AND ONLY IF other people do NOT impose their beliefs on others. That is the irony of all religions - it never keeps to itself. Why is Israel slaughtering innocent people in Gaza ? Religion. Why did Hamas slaughter innocent people on Oct. 7 ? Religion ? Why did the Supreme Court remove freedoms from American women to allow American men to control what they can do with their own bodies ? Religion.

How would you feel if your friend confided in you that she is cheating on her husband, knowing that he loves her deeply? What emotional and ethical considerations would you grapple with in response to her revelation?

Atheism has nothing to do with being a bad person, or a good person. It simply means you do not believe in any gods…..but that still makes it a perceived threat to any religion, because of the reasons atheists do not believe in god: objective reasoning and critical thinking. Religious people need to make the discussion about morality, because every other argument they have crumbles against any analytical review. The mental gymnastics of deflections, and pivots, and ‘interpretations’ never ends.

So, my motive is not to ‘spread atheism’, since that makes no sense, but through increasing education of everyone, and teach critical thinking skills, and include teaching science, mathematics, literature, the arts, and accurate history, more people will let go of their religion, and as a consequence there will be more atheists as an end result.

Religion ceases to exist when it no longer has any followers. Therefore, mathematically religion considers any source that results in losing followers to be a threat to the existence of that religion. This is why religion vilifies atheism. Religion lies and spreads false accusations about atheism because religion needs to bring atheism down to its own level in order to fabricate a comparison. This is why unethical religious people make false claims about atheism being a belief system.

What do people aim for when they meditate, and how do they do it properly?

A: Increase education so that people possess critical thinking for the purpose of making informed and educated decisions based on their own objective reasoning, and not based on religious fear mongering.

This is the irony of religion - if god was real there would be no need for bibles or churches. But religious people feel the need to be the ‘messengers’, as well as the enforcers. That alone verifies that there is no god.

Hitler was a Christian. Stalin attended confession once a month. Hirohito was considered a living god.

What is the most overrated pleasure? Why?

a person is never indoctrinated by religion in the first place, and remains an atheist from birth

This is all sustained successfully when you keep the masses ignorant. This is why in the Dark Ages peasants were not permitted to read the Bible. It required a member of the church to read it for them. It has always been about controlling the messaging.

If the different religions represent different channels on the TV, then atheism represents simply turning the TV off. This is why atheism is perceived as a threat to the existence to ALL religions. Consequently, religion seeks to fabricate the lies of claiming that atheism is something that it is not.

It seems that I am cursed with bad luck. How do I break such a curse?

Also…..tax the church!!

Atheism is simply the absence of any belief in any gods. Full stop!

Why do people ‘become’ atheists ? There’s only two ways. Since atheism is the absence of any beliefs in any gods, therefore every human that ever lived, and ever will live, including all priests, rabbis, imams, ministers, bishops, cardinals, popes, was born an atheist. Consequently all atheists are the result of one of two scenarios:

How do you help patients stop hearing voices?

I do have a motive to move the human race beyond medieval belief systems, because these belief systems have been and continue to be the greatest source of violence and prejudice against one another. It continues today:

I have no motive to ‘spread atheism’ as atheism is not a belief system.

Why does religion not keep to itself ? Why do religious people attack anyone who is not a member of their religion ?

Did Muhammad Ali ask Dundee to cut his gloves off before Eddie Futch stopped the fight in Thrilla in Manila?

This is why religious people ban books.

So, how do we accomplish elevating people such that they are not so easily brainwashed by religion ?

Religion is holding the rest of us back. Religion seeks to preserve people to only reading one book, that was written more than a thousand years ago by ignorant flat earthers who believed the sun revolved around the earth.

What is the reason for The Acolyte (2024 series) having poor reception among Star Wars fans?

A: ignorant people

Why do I care what others believe ?

Who believes this ?

Why is it that when the Democrats absolutely love everyone to be LGBTP, they don't even acknowledge that Barack Obama and his husband Big Mike are homosexual, and he is the first homosexual president of the USA?

Also - ban the teaching of religion to children. If adults wish to learn religion then have the freedom to do so, but stop teaching religion to children.

This continues today….

Look at history: the highest level of oppression and tyranny have always been built upon religion.

What do you think of the Black history lessons in the PBS documentary about jazz pianist-singer Hazel Scott?
